BIRD FLU: Dead geese have been popping up throughout the state with the DEP stating that there are reports of at least 1,100 dead birds.

Somerset County Parks have closed their environmental education center and nature trails due to an increase in dying geese.

Areas within Duke Island Park are also off limits.
