At the Closing Ceremony of the Sochi 2014 Paralympics on 16 March at Fisht Olympic Stadium, Russian athlete Aleksey Chuvashev delivered one of the most iconic moments in Winter Paralympic history.

Using only his arms, Chuvashev climbed a 15-metre suspended rope high above the stadium floor. As he reached the top, the word “IMPOSSIBLE” transformed into “I’M POSSIBLE,” capturing the defining message of the Paralympic Movement.
