HYBE and Geffen Records have announced that member Manon Bannerman is taking a temporary hiatus from KATSEYE to focus on her health and wellbeing.

In a statement shared with fans, the companies said the decision was made after open and thoughtful conversations among the members, adding that they “fully support” Manon during this time. They confirmed the group will continue with scheduled activities and look forward to reuniting as six when the time is right.

Manon later wrote on the platform Weverse: “I’m healthy, I’m okay, and I’m taking care of myself. Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture. Thank you for standing by me. I love you endlessly and can’t wait to see you again.”

While there are broader conversations happening online about the true reason Manon is taking a hiatus, it is all speculation, and nothing has been confirmed.

Fellow member Megan Skiendiel previously took a hiatus and later returned to the group. Fans are hopeful Manon will do the same and that everything behind the scenes works out.
