After 30 years and 1000+ projects, I've seen the same failures repeat over and over.

Here are the 5 reasons creative projects fail:

Reason 1: No clear objective You started creating without knowing why. Fix: Answer "What decision am I trying to make?" before you start.

Reason 2: Lack of skill You don't have the skill level to execute your taste yet. Fix: Either learn the skill or hire someone who has it.

Reason 3: Fear of success You're more afraid of finishing than failing. Fix: Recognize the fear. Ship it anyway.

Reason 4: Won't ask for help You'd rather struggle alone than admit you're stuck. Fix: Find one person you trust. Ask them.

Reason 5: No deadline Without time constraints, you'll cycle forever. Fix: Set a radical deadline. 2 weeks. Then ship.

The pattern: Failed projects lack structure.

Structure = clear goal + deadline + accountability.

These 5 failures have one solution: Sprints.
