#sponsored It's my 3rd season skiing but when I started off today, it felt like it was my first season again. Thankfully after a full day lesson monarchmountain and some savvy skier tips, I feel super confident!
At just $519 for a full day private lesson, the ski school here is an absolute gem but its not the only cool thing about the mountain. Monarch Mountain relies 100% on natural snowfall. Sitting along the Continental Divide, it regularly picks up storms moving in from the west.

And you can get here without a car thanks to Outrider, operated by Bustang and supported by CDOT. The Crested Butte–Denver route travels through visitsalidaco , where I stayed highsidesalidariverlofts , and includes a seasonal stop directly at Monarch Mountain!
