2025 Life Member: Ruth Everuss

Life Membership is the highest recognition Swimming NSW can bestow, celebrating individuals whose dedication has made a lasting impact on our sport from grassroots to elite.

Presented at the Country Championships weekend, Ruth’s lifetime of service from representing Australia at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games to decades as a coach, mentor and community leader, including her legacy at the Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre — has left an enduring mark on swimming in NSW.
