Lee Moriarty is a painter and professional wrestler known for his depictions of luchadores, practitioners of lucha libre, a Mexican style of wrestling that incorporates masks and elaborate acrobatic maneuvers. In the ring, Moriarty is known as TAIGASTYLE, melding a combination of Japanese, American, European, and Mexican forms of wrestling with his love of hip-hop, streetwear culture, and kung-fu. Last fall, Moriarty debuted his first solo exhibition, ‘Balance’ at Los Angeles’ nightgallery. This weekend, Moriarty will defend his ROH Pure Championship title at CMLL Informa International Weekend.
