‼️📣 While taraweeh prayers and mosque services across the city have paused because of the storm, our emergency response has not paused for a single moment. Families are still calling. Survivors still need safety. Children still need warmth tonight.

As the first blizzard of this scale since 2016 hit our city, we received multiple emergency calls from women and children in crisis! 

 ‼️📣 Comment “BLIZZARD” and we will send you the link to help support families in urgent need. 

1. One mother was locked out of her home with her children in the freezing cold. 
2. Another survivor contacted us after being forced out while injured and unable to safely seek medical care. 
3. A third single mother, afraid to call 911 because she feared immigration consequences, reached out after the heat in her home was intentionally turned off and her children became sick from the cold.

We are urgently fundraising for our Emergency Crisis Response Fund so we can immediately cover hotel stays, transportation, medical care, food, winter clothing, and essential supplies for families fleeing unsafe homes right now. These are real time crises, not future needs.
