DISCUSSION: The Bruins certainly benefited from these Olympic Games ⤵️

Yes you may not have seen all the highlights and goals (especially considering the IOC prohibits highlights on social media) but there’s a lot to like for Boston as we transition back to the NHL schedule. 

For one, Pavel Zacha, Elias and Hampus Lindholm are rested/rejuvenated, despite the fact everyone would love to play at these games. Zacha needed the rest and is back in a regular practice sweater. The Lindholm’s didn’t see every game and weren’t consistent in the lineup for Sweden (no idea why) but both, who’ve been injured at times this year, weren’t a full go and thats good IMO.

Pastrnak remained at a point-per-game pace with Czechia and nearly knocked off Canada. Dans Locmelis had a pop off game with two power-play goals vs Germany and both USA and Finland won their final games to gain some confidence and bring back some hardware. 

All in all, an entertaining Olympic Games but one Bruins fans should be happy with as well for the team.
