Paddington just made his awards‑show debut, and it was unbearably adorable! The beloved bear stole the spotlight at the 2026 BAFTAs, broadcast on E! and hosted by Alan Cumming, as he stepped onstage to present the award for Children’s and Family Film, his first-ever appearance at the iconic ceremony. Wearing his signature blue toggle coat, Paddington surprised an A‑list audience that included Prince William and Kate Middleton, Leonardo DiCaprio, and many more. Despite the star-studded crowd, the charming bear kept things humble and heart‑melting, opening with: “I don’t usually talk in front of lots of people, and there are rather a lot of you.” Paddington also celebrated becoming the first bear to ever present an award at the BAFTAs, joking about his favorite snack: “And also the first presenter to get marmalade all over a BAFTA.
