4 years ago today. Another example how ones small gesture can go a long way. 

This might sound dumb but I made a deal with myself that if nothing happened with thewrestlingclassic by the time I turned 30, I was doing wrap it up. If I didn’t have direction or made any impact in this space, maybe it had run its course. 

Maybe I’d go back into finance or get into more real estate stuff. 2019-2022 was rough. Through ultimatum between continuing this or working in the family business. The five and half months of losing this page. Still getting hit with rejection to be involved with media or access. I hadn’t properly been to a wrestling weekend since 2019. Honestly I felt lost.

I was so sure about wrapping it up - I started sending out messages thanking significant people in the industry for their support. One of those people happened to be Max. 

Max and I go back to 2015 when he just followed the page and left a comment that one day I’d be posting him on this page as a professional wrestler. In those early years he’d reach out to me with his promos to see what I thought and gave me updates on his progress on the independents. 

He supported me by reppin my merchandise, always showing love to the page and even snuck me into a post show party after the inaugural “All In” so we could snap a pic. 

He responded to that message but I didn’t know what it meant. I started this page on February 22, 2014 and on February 23, 2022 MJF gave me a shoutout in one of his most famous promos on AEW Dynamite. 

It lit a fire in my ass. It made me realize that I might have made an impact. 

Thanks for the motivation the_mjf. Thanks for making me feel important even though I might not be. Thanks for always keeping it real regardless how weird that sounds because you’re you haha. 

Its been nothing but up since then. Interviews, access, returning to travelling to shows and so much more. I mean ups and downs but we’re still here.

I try my hardest to not take anything for granted and remain grateful so thats why I’m posting this. You deserve your flowers and you’re better than them…but you already know it.
