This Giving Tuesday, Rooftop Films faces a critical moment.

For 28 years, Rooftop Films has been transforming spaces into communities and strangers into neighbors. We've provided $2.3 million in filmmaker grants, screened early works of countless acclaimed directors, and presented independent cinema in every corner of New York City. This summer alone, we brought 133 films to the five boroughs, including 40 free screenings, showcasing cinema in culturally underserved neighborhoods. But unprecedented changes threaten our ability to support emerging filmmakers and deliver enriching cinema to the communities we serve.

Today, your support matters more than ever! Make a tax-deductible donation or become a member to join our community and help ensure independent film continues to connect us.
