## Caption

How much longer will black and brown people be asked to extend grace that they themselves are not afforded?  At a recent award show while actors, Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo were presenting an award, an individual from the audience (with Tourette’s syndrome) shouted out the N-word.  While his intentions, based upon the neurological disorder, may not have been harmful. There is still a very real impact that we as a society can’t ignore. I refuse to. Black people are often asked to extend grace when harmed or afflicted, while not being afforded the same grace in society. Couple that with the strategic and intentionally erasure of Black history and you have an unheard, unseen, and uncared for people. Something has to change.  #racism #baftas #michaelbjordan
