“Being part of the Baylor Engineering Program has shaped my college experience in ways I never could have imagined. I’ve grown not only as a student, but also as a young professional, guided by incredible professors and the friends I’ve had since my very first day of freshman year. The people in this program genuinely care about you and your goals, creating an environment where you feel both supported and challenged.
 
From the very beginning in Teal Residential College, I was given opportunities to lead, to grow, and to fully enjoy college life in a community unlike any other. The friends I met in EGR 1301 (Intro to Engineering) are still the ones I study with today, and the relationships I built in Teal have grown into the friendships I now live alongside. Serving as an ECS Ambassador allows me to share these meaningful experiences with future students and to highlight what makes Baylor Engineering so special!” - Allyriane Matthews, Junior studying Mechanical Engineering with minors in Math and Business Administration
