A child gets two shots at a parent, and you are it! (Friendship MAY come later in life as adults). While they are in our care, the invitation is to be both firm AND kind. Parents often choose the too kind side/let’s be friends. Your child is going to have many friends in their lifetime, but they need you to be the parent. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This parenting gig? It is not easy. The outcome of firm and kind, though, is good humans. 🤍
