Lying is actually a normal part of development. When kids lie, they aren’t being bad—they’re simply testing boundaries and learning about consequences. But instead of calling them a “liar,” try reframing it as “storytelling.” 

Children love to tell stories, but it’s important to remember that this “storytelling” can erode trust. We must gently challenge their stories and confirm the truth with them, teaching them the value of honesty without shame. 

Let’s help them understand the impact of their words and build stronger, trust-filled relationships. 💬✨
