Eliminates tangled battery leads that might get in the way!

This weather resistant cover utilizes a small, rechargeable 12v 2AH lithium-ion battery to start your 4hp to 7.5hp electric start gasoline engines!

This system allows the use of Hercules 12V lithium tool batteries as electric start batteries when used with the integrated battery-mount weather cover.

NOTE - this will not turn your pull start/recoil start engine into an electric start engine. 

Compatible Engines
• 212cc electric start class engines (GX200 / Electric start 212cc clone style) (will only work on electric start engines)
• 420cc class engines (GX390 / Predator 420 style)

Compatible Batteries
• Hercules 12V 2.0Ah
• Hercules 12V 4.0Ah

Fuse Recommendations
212cc – 25–30A
420cc – 40A

Estimated Starts Per Charge*
2.0Ah:
• 212cc – 50–150
• 420cc – 30–90

4.0Ah:
• 212cc – 100–300
• 420cc – 60–180

*Based on 1–3 second crank time per start. Cold engines or multiple attempts will reduce total starts.

Operating Guidelines
• Use a fully charged battery.
• Limit cranking to 3 seconds per attempt.
• Allow 10–20 seconds between attempts.

Recommended Pairing
• 212cc: 2.0Ah acceptable, 4.0Ah preferred
• 420cc: 4.0Ah recommended
