There’s no shortage of “don’t miss this at Borough Market” videos.

But here’s my very un-viral, very personal edit from someone who’s been coming to Borough Market for a decade. Long before TikTok queues. & the algorithm deciding what was “worth it.”

These are the places I naturally drift back to every time.

🍷 Borough Wines
Mulled wine in winter is a must. But the real charm? Wine on tap. Bring your own bottle, refill it, try something new each visit.

🥐 The Ginger Pig
A proper British sausage roll is non-negotiable. Flaky pastry, rich filling, eaten standing up. Quintessentially London.

🍷 Bedales of Borough
Sit on the barrels, order a glass, head upstairs for that vantage point over the market. Chaos below, calm above.

🧀 Crouch’s Italian Deli
I’m powerless in a good Italian deli. Say “Pecorino Tartuffo” and I’m done.

If you wander into the tucked-away food hall, don’t skip:

🇮🇳 Horn OK Please
Dosa chaat and bhel - proper Indian street food with real flavour and zero gimmicks.

🥙 Nana Fanny’s
A falafel wrap that hits every time.

🌮 Tacos Padre
Genuinely good tacos. (Which, in London, is saying something.)

And technically just outside the market - Bao Borough.
If there’s no queue, get one immediately.
