Medics, doctors and evacuation personnel work every day on the front lines in Ukraine to save lives – often under extremely demanding conditions and at great risk to their own safety.

Sweden supports the Swedish–Ukrainian foundation Repower, which focuses on the psychological recovery of combat medics. The rehabilitation programme includes organised visits to Sweden, where the participants can take time to rest, interact and share their experiences through various activities.

The support of the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency to Repower has so far enabled more than 400 people to travel abroad for recovery.

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine four years ago today, Sweden has contributed a total of SEK 128 billion to Ukraine in military and humanitarian support. 🇸🇪🇺🇦
