Following reports that #Benzino was in the hospital after allegedly being hit by #Diamond’s car in an incident, The Shade Room reached out to Diamond for a statement and she responded. According to the Crime Mob rapper, #AltheaHeart had been going through some issues with a friend who was entrusted to represent her property until the friend allegedly sold a million-dollar home behind her back, wiping Althea out of funds.

Althea, who is said to be the primary custodian of her and Benzino’s son, reportedly needed a mental health evaluation following the property mishap so Althea left their son with Benzino. Following her evaluation, Althea had been trying to get in touch with Benzino to see her son but Diamond claims that she couldn’t get in contact with him and hadn’t seen her son in nearly two months. Eventually, Althea and Diamond figured out which school Althea’s son was attending and they showed up at the school together but the child was being transported on the bus to Benzino’s apartment.

After calling authorities to meet them at his residence for a wellness check, the police did allow Althea to see their son and let him sit near Diamond’s car to talk to him. However, after seeing their son with Althea, things seemingly went left with Benzino enraged. According to Diamond, he cursed her out and started banging on her vehicle door that had her 1-year-old son in it. Diamond said she drove off immediately. Although no additional details were confirmed, photos of Benzino in the hospital have begun to surface following the incident.
