I usually don’t share when I speak but this one was special. I just want to say thank you to the students and Alumni. I had a blast speaking at The Alfred L. Edwards Conference. This gathering is hosted annually by the Black Business Student Association at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and is the longest-running student-led conference at the University of Michigan. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the conference, a milestone celebration honoring five decades of leadership, culture, and impact within the Ross community and beyond.
The ALE50 theme is Legacy in Action, which highlights how the achievements and contributions of those who came before us continue to shape the present and inspire the future.  I spoke about honoring those that paved the way, leadership, resilience, reinvention, and leading through challenging economic and political environments, drawing from my time at Michigan and broader career in sports, business, and activism. 
It was my pleasure.
