I always dreamed of moving to New York City, so I ranked all the New York and Boston (home) programs I interviewed at above the best objective program on my list (location aside).  . Now that I’m finishing my first year of residency, I am so grateful I did not match to those other programs. Quality of life in a less expensive city is so much higher than I could’ve ever imagined, and the program I’m at inspires me every day to be a better doctor🥹 . Today is also special because I just found out I get to work with @fabletics scrubs for another 6 months!!
