Three things I learned after turning 30:

💫 Lots of little special moments are 10 times more impactful than occasional big ones. I strive to make every day special, whether that's watching the sunset with my family, taking a long walk to look at blooming flowers, having an $8 latte that tastes like heaven (yup), or doing a self-care treatment. Yes, I do something for myself every day, which leads me to my next point.

💫 You can't pour from an empty cup, and being a martyr ultimately is a disservice to everyone. Take care of yourself so you have more to give. Value yourself so others will value you.

💫 And speaking of value, you are the only one who gets to set it for yourself. Once I FINALLY understood that (after nine years of being underpaid by jobs and underappreciated by friends), I shifted my entire paradigm. You cannot make good money or have meaningful relationships until YOU decide what you are worth.
