2025 was a gnarly year. I specifically chose “Gnarly” for this recap because of how fun and high energy the song was to me during this year. 2025 It’s definitely one that’s hard to describe. I faced many challenges but achieved so much.

I entered my late twenties this year. The way I defined success and innovation began to change. Creating art in the uncertainty, I was motivated more than ever to do the opposite of what was expected. Whether that was advocating for better pay and protections for freelancers to picking up reading again to fuel my creativity, I’m proud of the discipline and progress.

I began to value the idea of building a legacy over going viral and gaining short term instant gratification. I accepted that success is simply just showing up no matter what whether that’s giving it your all at a show or just listening to my body and knowing when to rest.

2026 will be the year things drastically change in my career for the better. Thank you to everyone who supported me this year and I look forward to the new direction my art takes me.
