## Caption

We are not just in a financial recession, we are also in a creative one. “The Originality Recession” is a piece that confronts the cultural and creative stagnation caused by overconsumption, doomscrolling, nostalgia, and more. It aims to capture the inner conflict between who we are told to be and who we truly are. Through mixed media and stop motion, we showcase the journey to creative healing in a censored society in order to pave the way for an authentic, innovative future.
