Quick tip: if you have access to a color meter, meter your bi-color LEDs at commonly used color temps and create a label of the manufacturer's "estimated" CCT vs actual CCT. This allows you to quickly reference and set more accurate color temperatures from your bi-color fixtures when you’re without a meter. Most bi-color LEDs aren’t that accurate when dialing in CCT because of the blending from two different white points.

In this scenario, I used two different LEDs to fill up an 8x8: a Kino shell with quasarscience X-fades and an aputure.lighting 300d II. Being that the 300d has a single daylight chip, it would make sense to match to that source. I set the Quasars to 5200K which equates to around 5600K, giving a closer blend across the entire 8x8. Of course, there will be slight variations in Δuv (+/-G), but the overall CCT will give a more even color spread across the silk.
