On the ground in Overtown as the Miami HEAT unveiled a new mural for Black History Month.

Created by South Florida artist Nate Dee, the piece honors the legacy of Overtown.

The day also included a $5,000 contribution to the Overtown Business Association, a Jr. HEAT clinic at Frederick Douglass Elementary, and support for Lotus House Women’s Shelter.

Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning was in attendance as the HEAT continued investing beyond the game.
