If you are an educator, check this out: I have some exciting master classes & concerts coming up working with universities, theatre companies, and performing arts high schools. The class & a concert combination is my favorite. The class itself, which I’ve dubbed ‘Practical Artistry,’ is geared towards young performers seeking a career in the performing arts in New York City. ’Practical Artistry’ focuses on taking the leap with a sustainable navigation of your career in mind. The ups & downs (especially when you don’t have the financial support that others may have to take the leap) can be tricky. Having the tools, resources, and mindset of staying grounded to pursue this career is key. I was truly inspired when I was in college by professionals who shared their experiences with me, so I now offer my take on subjects most students wouldn’t be aware of until they dive in - agents, survival jobs, city resources, continued training etc. And, most importantly, applying your artistic gifts to all facets of your pursuits, especially in how you make a living BETWEEN gigs.
