Established as a national park in 1917 to protect Dall sheep, Denali National Park & Preserve now protects 6 million acres of Alaska’s subarctic wilderness, including glaciers, tundra, and spruce forests, along with North America’s tallest peak. 🏔️

The park is home to abundant wildlife like grizzlies, caribou, moose, wolves, and, of course, Dall sheep. It is also the only national park that employs sled dogs to patrol in the winter! 🐾
