The Letter of Inquiry deadline is fast approaching. ⏰

Apply for one of two Rubin grant programs supporting work that expands understanding of Himalayan art and culture:

🔎 Rubin x Research Grants: supporting scholarship in academic, educational, and exhibition contexts.
🎨 Rubin x Art Projects Grants: supporting artists and creatives in all disciplines developing new works inspired by the greater Himalayan region.

In 2025, funded projects spanned a wide range: from launching a conservation training program in Mongolia and documenting historic art in Bhutan and Nepal; to provenance research on objects from a Tibetan Buddhist temple in Darjeeling; to developing Tibetan visual art teaching resources; to a two-channel video installation in northern India exploring interdependence; and new exhibitions and multimedia initiatives.
