Stefania Dantoneis founder of SCN2A Italia is  partnering  with SCN2A Germany to create a European SCN2A Foundation, connecting families to resources and speeding the search for rare disease treatments. 

SCN2A Italia is one of 31 new patient-led rare disease organizations joining our Rare as One Network. This year our community has expanded to include international organizations.

“We’ve spent five years growing with the Rare as One Network, and now it’s time to scale up to support international organizations,” CZIer Heidi Bjornson-Pennell talks about the new international patient-led rare disease organizations joining our network. From Serbia to the UK, these groups are bringing unique ideas and perspectives to address the global burden of rare diseases.
