#TSRUpdatez: Earlier this week, reports surfaced that #KenyaMoore owed nearly $88k in unpaid rent and utilities for her Atlanta hair spa, but now she is setting the record straight.

In a new post promoting her upcoming YouTube live, she addressed the reports, stating, “My company is in an active lawsuit against my salon landlord for failing to pay nearly $80,000 in tenant improvement allowance OWED TO ME.”

She went on to explain that she invested $300,000 of her own money in building her salon and claims the landlord failed to reimburse contractual expenses. Therefore, she withheld rent to “reach a fair settlement.”

As previously reported, in documents obtained by tmz_tv, a Georgia judge ordered Kenya’s Moore Vision Media to pay $43,988 by late February, and another $43,988.67 by late March—for a total of $87,976.
