I told myself 2026 is the year I try new things.

I’ve tried creating short-form content, and now I want to try creating long-form content on YouTube…

So when visit_singapore paired me with siddharthajoshi for their first-ever creator residency, it honestly felt like they heard my thoughts.

siddharthajoshi is a full-time YouTuber from India, and I really respect him for stepping away from a stable path into something that felt foreign at first — and then committing hard enough to excel at it. This reel is a little snippet of our “courage hunt” around Singapore, as I asked him for advice on chasing a new goal.

If I had to sum up what I learned from Sid in 5 steps:

Step 1: Step out of your comfort zone
Step 2: Find beauty in the mundane
Step 3: Don’t create on an empty stomach
Step 4: Stay curious everywhere
Step 5: Press record anyway
