First ever race this morning. 1:34:36 half marathon. Signed up 2 weeks ago. Aimed for sub 1:35 and emptied the tank. 

Knowing there’s family and friends at the finish line makes these kinds of efforts that much easier and worthwhile. Who you surround yourself with will inevitably shape your standards, habits, identity and trajectory. 

I’m blessed to have a special support system.
