Fans did a serious double-take after a clip showed the actor competing in Final Jeopardy, writing down “What is… IDK” and “I ❤️ Eva” as his answer, and somehow winning it all. Even host Ken Jennings played along as Gosling wagered everything on the ultimate “Hail Mary.” 🤔

Turns out, the whole thing was a promo for his upcoming sci-fi film ‘Project Hail Mary.’ 

Social media quickly caught on, with fans calling it “genius marketing” and admitting they were completely fooled.
