Getting a good tight end out of the top three-four is a tough task. Here’s one guy that I think could provide solid value as a late round starter. ⠀

VALUE - Tyler Higbee is not the hottest name on the market right now, but at his current ADP he can provide some good value late in drafts. Right now he’s being taken right after Hunter Henry, but before Jared Cook. Personally, I’m a big fan of even later round picks like Hayden Hurst and Mike Gesicki but Higbee provides a solid floor that those players don’t have. ⠀

LAST YEAR - Higbee has a career year last year, and honestly did it pretty quietly. Really though, the season stats don’t tell the whole story. Higbee was a non-factor up until Week 10 when he reeled off a season high 16.7 FPTS. From weeks 10-15 Higbee didn’t score under 10 at all and this is due to the rams 12-personnel switch in Week 9. This switch should continue into this season and gives Higbee more targets and time on the field. ⠀
