## Caption

The parents of the National Guard member who was shot and killed in an ambush attack in D.C. last year were in attendance at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, survived being shot in the head, was there as well.

Trump awarded Wolfe, as well as the family of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, with Purple Hearts during his speech.
