Home to me has never really been a place

It’s always been the people

I’ve lived with 6 different families 

I’ve lived in a different country chasing my football dream 

And here we are building a house to call our home 

It’s not about the house, but more about what it took to get to this point

I found my person, who makes me feel at home

But we are just two people who want more than what we came from
