Back to the fundamentals. 🔪✂️💿

I started as an international vibes curator and a scratch DJ. Open format was my foundation, and Afrobeats were not popular back then. I was already spinning African vibes before it became mainstream because of my Nigerian culture. This was the time before I switched to House.
Now I’m intentionally relearning it to elevate live performances. 

Starting with my right hand.
Then I’ll move to my left.
New neural pathways. New sensitivity to tone.

Scratching isn’t about tricks.
It’s freestyle.
It’s trumpet solo energy.
It’s drum patterns.
It’s understanding rhythm deeply enough to manipulate sound with intention.

In this clip I’m also testing the RMX Ignite alongside the V10.
I’m not here to show perfection. I’m here to sit with the sound.

I’m breaking old muscle memory patterns.
Reprogramming hand movement.
Rebuilding feel.

Every DJ will tell you the same thing:
It’s about the hours.
The repetition.
The humility to practice again.

By no means am I perfect.
By all means, I will get there.
