1️⃣🏡 Homecoming returned to Rutgers–Newark for the first time in over 10 years, reviving a tradition that is officially here to stay rutgers_alumni And just wait for this year, where we won’t only be celebrating the second return of Homecoming, but also Rutgers–Newark turning 80! 🎉 #RUNTurns80 #RUNHomecoming2026 #RUNFamilyReunion

2️⃣🦊 We unveiled our brand-new mascot early 2025 as part of the #RaiderRevolution #NewMascot #NewTraditions

3️⃣👕 We partnered with the Newark School of Fashion & Design nps_nsfd to create a spirit apparel line made specially for the RU–N community, which were designed and later modeled by the talented high school students behind the work #RUNxNSFD #InNewarkOfNewark #NewarkStaysRising 

4️⃣🏟️☝️ Under the leadership of our new president (Dr. William Tate rutgersu) and our new chancellor chancellorsmithjackson, the Scarlet Nation showed up in full force for a sold-out Blackout Game, bringing together Scarlet Raiders, Scarlet Raptors, and Scarlet Knights for an unforgettable night of unity and pride #OneRutgers #ScarletPride

2025 was an incredible year that showcased who Rutgers–Newark is at our core. We love our city, our students, our Scarlet family, and we’re excited for our #RaiderFamily to continue growing as part of a community built on love, support, and belonging!
