🎆 As our 🇺🇸 nation celebrates its independence, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our ❤️ #ScarletNation. Because watching fireworks this year felt like more than just a view, it reminded us of a legacy older than our country itself.

📜 The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.
🤍 Rutgers was founded in 1766 (as Queens College).
‼️ That’s over 250 years of impact ‼️

With a network of more than 600,000 alumni, Rutgers has helped shape the world through innovation, justice, discovery, and leadership. Our community is made up of visionaries, trailblazers, changemakers, educators, healers, scholars, organizers, artists, scientists, and leaders who continue to push boundaries and spark progress across every field.

But it’s not just about who we “accept,” because acceptance is the bare minimum; it’s about how we nurture, uplift, and stand beside one another.
