There are so many cherry blossom spots in Korea, but if we had to pick one of the absolute prettiest, this place would definitely make the list.

We’re talking about the cherry blossoms at Anmyeonam Temple 🌸
It’s located in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, about a 3-hour drive from Seoul. It might feel a little far, but that’s exactly why it feels like such a hidden gem.

The blossoms here usually start blooming in early April and are expected to hit full bloom around mid-April! Since Seoul’s cherry blossoms tend to bloom and peak a bit earlier, why not enjoy the Seoul spots first and then make your way here for round two?

한국에는 벚꽃 명소가 정말 많지만, 그중에서도 손에 꼽히는 곳을 하나 고르자면 여긴 무조건 들어가야죠.

바로 안면암의 벚꽃입니다 🌸 충청남도 태안에 위치해 있고, 서울에서 차로 약 3시간 정도 걸려요. 조금 멀게 느껴질 수 있지만, 그래서 더 숨은 보석 같은 곳이에요.

이 지역 벚꽃은 4월 초쯤 개화를 시작해서 4월 중순에 절정에 이를 것으로 예상되고 있어요. 서울 벚꽃이 조금 더 빨리 피고 지는 편이니, 서울에서 먼저 즐기고 그다음 코스로 태안까지 가보는 것도 좋겠죠?
