BOTTEGA VENETA FALL/WINTER 2026: THE TACTILE REVOLUTION

At the Palazzo San Fedele in Milan, the collection defined a new “Brutalist Sensuality.” The runway featured a radical shift toward extreme textures, utilizing silk threads and recycled glass fibres to create a “hairy” aesthetic that challenged traditional leather boundaries.

British designer Louise Trotter delivered her sophomore collection, cementing a vision of “intelligent luxury.” She successfully transitioned the house from cinematic realism to a structural, material-focused direction, blending architectural severity with tactile comfort.

The collection was dominated by “fortress-like” overcoats with sculptural, rounded shoulders and cinched waists. Key accessories included the reimagined Padded Veneta hobo and the Lauren clutch, alongside artisanal leather-patch shirts that showcased the brand’s evolved Intrecciato heritage.
