Cai Shoemaker ’27 and the LPS volleyball team faced Denver East Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. In their season opener, the team won 3–0. “I think we’re just going to take this game, it’s the first game, and it’s a big push off for this season,” Shoemaker said. “So I think we’ll take this and keep the energy at practice, and then next Tuesday, we’re ready for this.” 
The team’s next match is an away game at Castle View March 3 at 6 p.m.
