Looking to score, Izzy Johnston ‘26 drives toward the basket during girls varsity basketball’s 61-36 win over Fossil Ridge Feb. 28 in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. The victory advances the team to Round 3 of the 2025 CHSAA 6A Tournament, where they are currently ranked No. 2 in the state. “I think it [the game] was a team effort,” Johnston said. “Everybody is able to score, everyone’s able to play defense, and I think that’s really what had us take such a big lead in this game.”
The girls will host Fort Collins (17-7) March 4 at 5:30 p.m.
