Champion Pigs on National Pig Day! 

🏆 Grand Champion Market Hog 
Sixteen-year-old Maria Frasch of Attica, Indiana, raised the 2026 Grand Champion Market Hog, Lafayette, who sold for an incredible $85,000 to OXY.

🥈 Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog 
The crowd was on its feet as Colorado native Bailey Stromberger of Iliff drove the bid to a record-breaking $120,000 for her Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog, Bennie. The winning bid came from Transwest Trucks, Inc., owned by George Eidsness, the 2026 NWSS Citizen of the West.

On this National Pig Day, we celebrate more than incredible livestock; we celebrate the young leaders shaping agriculture’s future. Congratulations to our 2026 champions, and thank you to the buyers, families, and supporters who make these moments possible.
