## Caption

The Ring Nebula (M57), also known as M57 or NGC 6720, is a famous planetary nebula located in the constellation Lyra. It appears as a ring-shaped cloud of ionized gas surrounding a dying star. The nebula is about 2,300 light-years from Earth and spans approximately 1 light-year across. Its distinctive ring-like appearance is due to the orientation of the nebula, which is viewed nearly end-on from Earth, revealing the expanding shell of gas ejected by the central star.
I made this capture with a non modified regular mirrorless canon EOS R5 and a Sky-Watcher 16” Flextube SynScan GoTo Collapsible Dobsonian
Enjoy!
