The Full Worm Moon tonight 🪱🌕 

The naming originally thought to refer to the earthworms that appear as the soil warms in spring. This invites various species of birds including robins and other species to feed—a true sign of spring. 

The Full Moon will reach its peak illumination at 3:00 AM EST. Although the Moon was almost in Perigee tonight, which is the farthest spot from earth during its orbit, it was still very bright and the hazy cloudy sky created a nice glow around it.
