To celebrate, we’re introducing artist educator Silvermoon LaRose to Narragansett Pre-K and Kindergarten students for an interactive storytelling session this week. We’re thrilled to welcome her back as a FirstWorks artist educator this school year!

Silvermoon is a citizen of the Narragansett Tribal Nation and the Assistant Director of the Tomaquag Museum. She has worked in tribal communities for over 20 years, serving in the areas of health and human services, education, and humanities.
