#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Sofia Corso (bu_cas ’26)!
Hailing from Lake Oswego, Oregon, Sofia is deeply involved in the BU community. She’s majoring in English with a minor in Psychology and is a student in the Kilachand Honors College. On campus, Sofia serves as a Simpson Undergraduate Writing Fellow, an Admissions Ambassador, and a Communications Assistant for the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences. She’s also the Community Outreach Director and a mentor for BU Girls Inc., part of the nationwide nonprofit dedicated to helping girls become strong, smart, and bold, a member of Off the Cuff Magazine’s PR team, and a member of Gamma Phi Beta. In her free time, Sofia loves spending time with friends, writing poetry, running (she’s currently training for the Big Sur Marathon with her best friends this April!), exploring the outdoors, visiting Boston’s thrift stores and cafés, playing guitar, and attending live music shows. When asked what advice she has for fellow Terriers, she shared: “Be patient and present!
